SCIENCE WEEK WILL BE A BLAST!

22/07/2016
Come and see our Science Week Display in the Front Office!
National Science Week runs from 15th August to 19th August Australia-wide.  At Kirwan State School, Mr. Browne is gearing up to make his best presentation yet!  This year's theme is "Drones, Droids, and Robots" and looks at the contributions that unmanned technology makes to our lives.  Mr Browne is going to present a fun and interactive presentation about how unmanned space missions have helped shape human understanding of our planet, our galaxy, and our universe.  As always, Mr. Browne is going to finish his show with a bang!  You don't want to miss it.
The shows will take place in week 6 (Prep to year 3 on Monday 15th August and Year 4 to Year 6 on Tuesday 16th August).  Both shows will start at 2:00pm in the hall, and will run for 45 minutes.  Parents, Guardians, and family members are very welcome to attend.
Please note, there will be bright lights, loud noises and smoke effects used during the show.
