Kirwan State School was established in 1977 and has approximatley 850 students. The Kirwan professional community consists of a Principal, 2 Deputy Principals, a Head of Curriculum, a Head of Special Education, a Chaplain and a Guidance Officer along with 37 highly trained, professional classroom teachers and over 30 support staff.
The Kirwan community acknowledges that life long learning is a social process which develops as individuals interact with each other and their environment. Our curriculum aims to provide for the differential needs, interests, abilities and backgrounds of students.
